When Jack Murphy and his wife Pat took over a business in Newry, Northern Ireland back
in 1972 they set about raising standards and adding an International
flavour to their selection. They can be proud of their Jewellery
Showroom and friendly helpful staff, attracting customers from
throughout Ireland and beyond and have played a large part in
placing Newry on top of the shopping locations.
Trade Connections
Always eager to expand his knowledge since entering the jewellery trade
in 1957, Jack built up a strong network in the jewellery trade not only
within the British Isles but also in Europe and the USA. He has served
as President of both the Retail Jewellers of Ireland & the Ulster
Jewellers; he has also been chairman of many committees of the National
Association of Goldsmiths of Great Britain & Ireland based in London.
The Importance’s of Diamonds
As a founder member of the De Beers Carat Club, Jack has worked close
with a number of the leading designers and other prominent members of
the diamond trade. With value and quality in mind Jack travels to
Antwerp, looked on as the world’s polished Diamond Capital, three
times a year to personally select Diamonds. These diamonds play an
important role within an exciting collection of Engagement Rings and
Jewellery. International brands of watches compliment the abundance
of exclusive and stunning designed jewellery.
Design Service
The ‘JMJ’ design service allows you to play a part in creating the ring
to match your dreams. Such commission work plays a large part in the
